With the coronation of King Charles III this weekend, it is time to tell the story of our premium tack line - the Coronation Collection.
With the success of our original Hunter Bridle, we were approached last summer to make something that was truly elegant and fitting for the most discerning riders and owners. With input from top riders and clients, we set out to design and produce the very best for your champion.
While on a trip to England last September, I found inspiration in a small tack shop in the Cotswolds. Luckily, we found the best bridle maker and our project quickly got underway.
We needed the finest English leather that would accept oil and patina with use and age. Sedgwick was the tannery to get that done. The transformation over time is beautiful and unique to each piece as the color deepens and the leather softens.
The craftsmanship is second to none. The stitching is refined and elegant, and the edges are beautifully finished. This is something the English craftspeople have mastered better than anyone. We are lucky to have partnered with someone who understands our high expectations and can deliver the finest products.
The proportions of the bridle are truly exquisite. The raised details are subtle so as to not overwhelm your horse's face. The measurements have been reworked so the buckles will align with the corner of the horse's eye on most. We have tried to think of every detail, down to the size of the keepers, to bring you a truly special collection.
