We're making history
In the shade of the majestic oaks near the village of Upperville, Virginia, the 170th anniversary of the oldest horse show in America runs June 5-11, 2023. During this week, the nation’s top-ranked hunters and jumpers will compete alongside the local ponies, sidesaddle ladies and “Silver Foxes”.
Additional, non-horsey, competitions include the Horses & Horse Power Car Show and the Hat Contest!
Now, 2023 will be remembered as the year The In Gate premiered at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show. In honor of this historic competition, steeped in tradition and elegance, The In Gate took a look back at some images that capture just how special this show is. Enjoy!
